Brew 9000. This English-style barleywine is brewed with floor-malted English barley and 'Noble' hop varieties. It has been aged for 16 months in 10- to 15-year-old bourbon barrels (previously used only once). They brewed this beer to celebrate their 9,000th batch and look forward to sharing it with you—the craft beer family. "Barleywine Ale Is Life." – The details: Maris Otter Pale and Carafa 2 Special malts, complemented by white wheat and Chinook and East Kent Goldings hops. Color: Ruby-brown. This barleywine is dark brown with a slight haze and delights the senses with rich aromas of molasses, toffee, brown sugar, cola, vanilla, whiskey, and dried fruit, layered with notes of oak and biscuit. On the palate, the beer is intensely sweet and full-bodied, featuring a warming alcohol presence and subtle carbonation that creates a refined, tingly sensation.
