This 'double barrel-aged' version of Dark Star is aged first for a year in 7- to 10-year-old Kentucky bourbon barrels, and then for another year in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels. Roasted and chocolate malts complement the smooth oats, creating a delicious stout wrapped in the warm embrace of bourbon barrels—with a touch of sweetness balanced by the hops.
