This beer smells like an Imperial Stout, looks like whisky, and tastes like sherry. Don't refrigerate this bottle; enjoy it straight from the bottle in a nice whisky glass. Expect a new drinking experience. This Barley Wine has undergone a very long fermentation and slow maturation in oak barrels. It has no head or carbonation. Dried fruit blends with Madeira notes, complemented by a layer of woody aromas, hints of fresh red fruit, and a honeyed, dry sweetness.
