Once again an example of the minimalist approach, resulting in powerful and characterful Barleywines! This smooth and rich, caramel-filled creation is brewed with a single type of high-quality English barley and a single type of high-quality English hop. The addition of brown sugar during the long boiling process in the brewing kettle enhances the depth of the flavors, with notes of toffee, soft caramel, and dried dark fruit. After 21 months of aging in a mix of Elijah Craig and Henry McKenna bourbon casks, this beer has patiently grown into a beautiful example of how simplicity can prevail.
