Seven types of malt were used to create deep flavors of coffee, chocolate, caramel, and molasses. A touch of bitterness and spicy notes from carefully selected European and American hop varieties support the monolithic maltiness. After maturation in stainless steel tanks, this blend of two vintages was transferred to selected Wild Turkey, Buffalo Trace, and Elijah Craig bourbon barrels. Dark Apparition waited patiently in oak barrels for the right moment to emerge with its haunting power. A truly decadent brew.
