We were delighted to welcome our friends from Gross in San Sebastian to Manchester for a new collaboration, blending the unique identity and terroir of the Basque Country with our own native hop varieties. The Cascade hops—sourced from Pepo's Hops in Azpeitia and personally delivered by head brewer Beinat—impart vibrant notes of pink grapefruit and citrus, accompanied by a refined, floral, and herbal undertone. We selected British-grown Admiral hops as the ideal partner, thanks to their bold orange notes and spicy finish. The addition of Hallertau Blanc and Lorien introduces a further touch of fresh citrus and soft wildflowers, maintaining a hop profile rooted in the European 'noble hop' tradition. ¡Topa!
