Bourbon barrel aged salted peanut imperial stout 13.3%
Last year, Amundsen (Oslo) visited LERVIG and put a velvety smooth imperial stout in freshly emptied bourbon casks. After 14 months, they picked the beer and added over a quarter ton of peanuts. A touch of salt strikes the perfect balance between the sweet and savory taste of roasted nuts, while the bourbon adds the finishing touches of vanilla, oak and caramel.
