This distinctive mead, made with sour cherries, sloe berries, and honey, always uses a fruit wine as its base. During fermentation, honey is gradually added until the sugar content approaches the original ripe fruit.
In this edition, they've incorporated the unique character of sloe berries. A small fruit known for its concentrated flavor and tannins, it ripens only after the first frost. The earthy and spicy notes build on the fruity character
of the cherries, harmonizing with the honey. Perfect with game, pâté, or dark chocolate.
