Super DIPA from the series of ultra-powerful, extremely hopped Double New England IPAs. This second version was brewed for the Phantasm Cup, held at Other Half Brewing Company. This competition highlights the use of Phantasm and thiolytic yeasts. The beer is hopped with Riwaka, Waimea, Manilita, NZ Cascade T90, and SubZero Hop Kief, and also contains Phantasm, a thiol-rich powder from Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grapes. This combination promotes thiolysis, a biotransformation that enhances the explosive aromas of tropical fruit.
