After a 2020 summer weekend in the Norwegian wilderness with Põhjala, LERVIG filled imperial stout in a very specific ratio of rum, bourbon and maple syrup casks. More than a year later, these casks have given the beer a diversity of flavors and aromas beyond the characteristics of the liquids they once contained.
