Barrel-Aged Blue Suede Shews is the blueberry mead with cashews, aged for almost 2 years in Journeyman Barrels.
It's not often that we are surprised by the flavors they extract from barrels, but this particular product was significantly influenced by the oak's previous life. Huge waves of Butterscotch, caramel, toffee, vanilla and bourbon spice affected the note profile in unexpected ways, making them want to release it without additives. Buttery, savory and powerful.
