This beer is all about chocolate and roasted notes, complemented by warm oak spices and a subtle vanilla flavor from charred bourbon barrels. To further enhance the mocha profile of this delicious stout, they've added organic coffee and chocolate from their local coffee roaster, Paul & Bohne.
They've chosen an organic blend of Arabica and Robusta beans. The coffee delivers a creamy, full aroma of roasted nuts, dark chocolate, and a rich espresso flavor, without any harsh acidity.
The chocolate is, of course, sourced from Zotter, which supplies only the highest quality cocoa: 100% organic, ethically sourced, and traceable. The cacao nibs add a full chocolate flavor; deep, smooth, and bittersweet.
