The same basic recipe as Bourbon County Stout Original, but this beer is aged in 12-year-old "Elijah Craig Barrel Proof" bourbon barrels. The bourbon from these barrels was named "Whisky of the Year" by Whisky Advocate in 2017, the highest honor in the international whisky world. Reserve is intended to showcase the nuances of a premium, single-source, highly sought-after bourbon.
