The second edition of Ghost Elephant Imperial Stout. They have matured it again in a Caol Ila cask – peated Scotch whisky from the island of Islay. But this time, instead of red wine, it was noble Oloroso Sherry alongside the whisky.
The aroma is subtly smoky, with notes of iodine, seaweed, plums, raisins, and wood. The taste is smooth, balanced, with a light sweetness and a deep finish.
