Chimay Grande Réserve Fermentée en Barriques - Chêne Français, Chêne Américain (08/2019)

The scent has soft vanilla notes and a spicy aroma. A hint of orange gives the beer a pleasant citrus accent that matches perfectly with the sweet caramel. There is also a floral undertone with chamomile, with a subtle touch of pomegranate and a hint of almond liqueur. A beautiful combination of delicious apricot and candied fruit with creamy mocha. The finish packs a delicious punch, with an amazing spicy kick and a refreshing green apple taste.
A mixture of barrels was used for this second batch.
40% French oak
60% American oak
Produced in limited quantities using craft brewing methods.
