Het bier werd gebrouwen in Portobello, Edinburgh, op basis van gemengde gisting en negen maanden gerijpt in Bruichladdich-vaten om het te laten doordringen met het iconische karakter van Bruichladdich's ongeturfde Islay single malt. De diepte van de smaak van de vaten zorgt voor delicate tonen van zoete eik en gerst, terwijl de toevoeging van met de hand geplukte citroenmelisse en Schotse heidehoning een perfecte balans creëert tussen zure zuurgraad en rokerige zoetheid.
